The Heiliggeistkirche is a late-Gothic collegiate church on Heidelberg's Marktplatz, built mainly in the 15th century. For centuries it housed the famous Bibliotheca Palatina before the collection was taken to Rome in 1623. Today the church serves both as an active place of worship and a concert venue, particularly for classical and choral music.
