The Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum in Paderborn is the world's largest computer museum, tracing the history of information technology across 5,000 years - from ancient counting tools to modern computing. Spread over several floors, it hosts permanent exhibitions as well as temporary shows and public events. The building was named after Heinz Nixdorf, the German computer pioneer who founded his company in Paderborn.
