Herz-Jesu-Kirche

Munich, Germany

About the venue

The Herz-Jesu-Kirche in Munich's Neuhausen district is one of the most striking modern churches in Germany. Completed in 2000 and designed by architects Allmann Sattler Wappner, it is best known for its enormous glass facade - the largest hinged wooden doors in the world - which floods the interior with light. The church regularly hosts classical concerts alongside its liturgical programme.
