About the venue

The Hirsvogelsaal is a Renaissance hall dating from 1534, originally part of the Hirsvogel family's city palace and later incorporated into the Tucherschloss ensemble in Nürnberg. Its richly decorated interior - with carved stone portal and coffered ceiling - makes it one of the finest surviving secular Renaissance interiors in Germany. Today it serves as a venue for concerts, receptions and cultural events.
