About the venue

The Isarphilharmonie is a concert hall in Munich's Werksviertel-Mitte district, opened in 2021 as a temporary home for the Münchner Philharmoniker while the Gasteig cultural centre undergoes renovation. Designed with outstanding acoustics in mind, it seats around 1,900 and hosts orchestral concerts, chamber music and guest ensembles from across Europe.
