The Karmeliterkloster in Frankfurt is a former Carmelite monastery dating back to the 13th century, making it one of the best-preserved medieval monastic complexes in the region. Today it houses the Institut für Stadtgeschichte (Frankfurt City Archive) and hosts cultural events, exhibitions, and concerts in its historic cloisters and refectory.
