About the venue
The Katharinenruine is the roofless ruin of the former St. Catherine's Church (Katharinenkirche) in Nürnberg's old town, dating back to the 14th century. Once part of a Dominican convent, the shell of the Gothic church now serves as an open-air venue for concerts, theatre performances, and cultural events during the summer months.
