About the venue

KINDL - Centre for Contemporary Art occupies a former brewery in the Neukölln district of Berlin. The industrial brick buildings, dating from the late 19th and early 20th century, were converted into exhibition spaces that host large-scale installations and contemporary art shows. The centrepiece is the Maschinenhaus, a towering engine hall whose raw architecture shapes how artists conceive their works for the space.
