Kirche St. Emmeram

Regensburg, Germany

About the venue

St. Emmeram's Church in Regensburg is one of the oldest and most significant sacred buildings in Bavaria, with roots going back to the 8th century. Originally a Benedictine abbey church, it became part of the Thurn und Taxis palace complex after secularization in 1803. The interior holds remarkable Baroque decoration by the Asam brothers, alongside early medieval crypts and the tomb of the Irish missionary Emmeram.
