Ebstorf, Germany
Kloster Ebstorf is a medieval Benedictine convent in the small town of Ebstorf in Lower Saxony, founded in the 13th century. It is best known as the original home of the Ebstorf Map (Ebstorfer Weltkarte), one of the largest medieval world maps ever made. The convent buildings, including the Gothic church and cloister, are still in use today and regularly host cultural events, concerts, and guided tours.
