About the venue

The Klosterkirche zu Cottbus is a late-Gothic brick church, originally part of a Franciscan friary founded in the 15th century. After the Reformation the monastery was dissolved, but the church survived and remains one of the oldest sacred buildings in Cottbus. Today it serves as a concert and cultural venue, hosting classical music events and other cultural programmes.
