About the venue

The Kulturpalast Dresden is a concert hall in the city centre, built between 1966 and 1969 as a cultural flagship of the GDR. After a major renovation completed in 2017, it became the permanent home of the Dresdner Philharmonie. The hall seats around 1,750 and is praised for its acoustics, redesigned by the firm Nagata Acoustics.
