Künstlerhaus Bethanien is an international artist residency and exhibition space housed in a 19th-century former diaconal hospital in the Kreuzberg district. Since the 1970s it has hosted resident artists from around the world, offering studios alongside a gallery programme that focuses on contemporary and experimental art. The building itself - a striking neo-Gothic brick complex - is a listed landmark.
