About the venue

The Kurfürstliches Schloss (Electoral Palace) in Mainz is a late-Renaissance and Baroque palace on the banks of the Rhine, built between the 16th and 18th centuries as the residence of the Electors of Mainz. Today it houses the Roman-Germanic Central Museum (RGZM) and serves as a prestigious venue for cultural events, concerts, and receptions. Its grand riverside façade is one of the most recognisable landmarks of the city.
