The Löwenbräukeller is a traditional Bavarian beer hall and garden on Stiglmaierplatz in Munich, built in the late 19th century for the Löwenbräu brewery. The grand hall and its terraced beer garden can host several thousand guests and regularly serve as a venue for folk festivals, seasonal events and the Starkbierfest. The building's ornate historicist facade is one of the more recognizable sights in the Maxvorstadt district.
