Martinstor

About the venue

The Martinstor is one of the two surviving medieval city gates of Freiburg im Breisgau, dating back to the 13th century. Its distinctive tall tower was heightened in the early 16th century and today dominates the southern end of the Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. The gate serves as a landmark and occasional venue for cultural events and exhibitions.
