The Messplatz is a large open-air square in the Mühlburg district of Karlsruhe, traditionally used as a fairground. It hosts the city's major folk festivals, including the Karlsruher Mess, one of the biggest funfairs in the region, as well as circuses, markets and open-air events throughout the year.
