About the venue

The Münsterplatz is the large square surrounding Freiburg's Gothic minster, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Upper Rhine region. For centuries it has served as a market square - the daily farmers' market still runs here - and today it doubles as an open-air venue for concerts, festivals and seasonal events like the Christmas market.
