About the venue

Museum Brandhorst is a contemporary art museum in Munich's Kunstareal, opened in 2009. Its striking facade is clad in around 36,000 ceramic rods in 23 colours. The collection centres on post-war and contemporary art, with major holdings of works by Cy Twombly, Andy Warhol, and Damien Hirst.
