About the venue

Museum Koenig - formally the Zoological Research Museum Alexander Koenig - is one of Germany's leading natural history museums, housed in an imposing Wilhelminian-era building on Bonn's Adenauerallee. Its vast collection covers zoology and biodiversity, with large dioramas of African and other wildlife as a centrepiece. The museum also gained a place in German history: the Parliamentary Council convened here in 1948-49 to draft the Basic Law.
