About the venue

Museum Wiesbaden is the state museum of Hesse, housed in a grand Wilhelminian building from 1915. It holds two permanent collections under one roof: natural history and fine art, with the art side particularly strong in Russian avant-garde works - including one of the world's most significant Alexej von Jawlensky collections. Temporary exhibitions regularly draw visitors from across the region.
