The Neues Museum on Berlin's Museum Island is a 19th-century landmark designed by Friedrich August Stüler and reopened in 2009 after a decades-long restoration by David Chipperfield. It houses the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection alongside the Museum of Prehistory and Early History. The bust of Nefertiti, one of the most visited objects in Germany, is on permanent display here.
