About the venue

The Oldenburg Palace is a Renaissance and Baroque residence in the centre of Oldenburg, built in stages from the 16th century onward. It served as the seat of the Counts and later Dukes of Oldenburg for several centuries. Today the building houses the Landesmuseum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte, and its courtyard and grand rooms regularly host cultural events and exhibitions.
