Olympiapark Berlin is a large sports and event complex in the west of Berlin, built for the 1936 Summer Olympics. Its centrepiece is the Olympiastadion, a landmark stadium that has hosted FIFA World Cup matches, UEFA Champions League finals, and major concerts. The grounds also include the Waldbühne open-air amphitheatre, the Maifeld, and several historic sports facilities.
