The Sion Sommerkino is one of Cologne's most popular open-air cinemas, held each summer in the beer garden of the Sion brewery near the old town. Films are screened after dark on a large outdoor screen, with seating among the chestnut trees and cold Kölsch on tap. The programme mixes current releases with cult classics.
