The Orangerie in Ansbach's Hofgarten is a baroque garden hall built in the early 18th century as part of the Ansbach Residenz ensemble. Originally designed to shelter exotic plants over winter, it now serves as an elegant venue for concerts, cultural events and the famous Ansbach Bachwoche festival. The long, light-filled hall with its classical facade is one of the finest surviving orangeries in Franconia.
