About the venue

A dedicated exhibition space on Museum Island in Berlin, built to house Yadegar Asisi's monumental 360° panorama of ancient Pergamon. The cylindrical building opened in 2011 as a temporary complement to the Pergamonmuseum while parts of it undergo renovation. The panorama immerses visitors in a life-size reconstruction of the city of Pergamon around 129 AD, complete with dramatic lighting and sound.
