About the venue

The Plenarsaal im Bundesrat Bonn is the former plenary chamber of the German Bundesrat, housed in a modernist building from 1954 on the banks of the Rhine. After the seat of government moved to Berlin, the hall was preserved as a historic site and today hosts conferences, concerts, and public events. Its distinctive semicircular seating and original mid-century interior make it one of the most recognizable spaces of West German parliamentary history.
