The Römersaal of the Vereinigte Hospitien in Trier is a remarkable event hall built into a Roman wine cellar dating back to the 3rd century AD. The Vereinigte Hospitien, a charitable foundation with roots in the Middle Ages, has preserved this ancient vaulted space and uses it today for concerts, receptions and cultural events.
