About the venue

Schloss Rastatt is a baroque residence built in the early 18th century for Margrave Ludwig Wilhelm of Baden, modelled on Versailles. It was the first large baroque palace to be constructed on German soil and today houses a military history museum. The state rooms and ceremonial halls regularly serve as a backdrop for concerts and cultural events.
