About the venue

Villa Ludwigshöhe is a neoclassical summer residence built in the 1840s for Bavarian King Ludwig I, set on a hillside above Edenkoben in the Palatinate Wine Route. The palace now serves as a museum and hosts concerts, exhibitions and cultural events, with sweeping views over the Rhine plain. The adjacent Max Slevogt Gallery displays works by the German Impressionist painter who lived nearby.
