Schweriner Schloss

Schwerin, Germany

About the venue

Schweriner Schloss is a 19th-century palace on an island in Lake Schwerin, widely regarded as one of the finest examples of Historicist architecture in Germany. Built in its current form between 1845 and 1857, it draws on French château styles - most notably Chambord. Today it serves as the seat of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state parliament and hosts cultural events, concerts, and guided tours.
