About the venue

St. Fridolinsmünster is a Roman Catholic minster church in Bad Säckingen, on the Upper Rhine. The basilica dates back to the early medieval period and was substantially rebuilt in the baroque style during the 17th and 18th centuries. It houses the relics of St. Fridolin, the Irish missionary who founded a monastery here, and regularly serves as a venue for sacred concerts and cultural events.
