Theater des Westens is a historic theatre in Berlin's Charlottenburg district, built in 1895–96 by architect Bernhard Sehring. Originally designed for operettas and variety shows, it later became one of Germany's leading musical theatres. The ornate neo-Gothic and Jugendstil façade is a landmark of the Kurfürstendamm area.
