Thomaskirche

Leipzig, Germany

About the venue

The Thomaskirche is a Gothic church in Leipzig's old town, dating back to the 13th century. It is world-famous as the place where Johann Sebastian Bach worked as Kantor from 1723 until his death in 1750 - and where he is buried. The Thomanerchor, one of the oldest boys' choirs in the world, still performs here regularly.
