Treptower Park is a large riverside park in the Treptow district of Berlin, stretching along the east bank of the Spree. It is best known for the Soviet War Memorial, a monumental ensemble built in 1949 to commemorate the Red Army soldiers who fell in the Battle of Berlin. The park regularly hosts open-air concerts, festivals and public events, particularly in summer.
