Zionskirche

Berlin, Germany

About the venue

Zionskirche is a red-brick Protestant church in the Mitte district of Berlin, built in the 1860s-1880s and consecrated in 1873. During the GDR era it became a gathering point for the civil rights and peace movements, hosting underground cultural events and dissident groups. Today the church regularly opens its doors for concerts - particularly classical and choral music - alongside regular services.
