A Perfect Circle is an American rock band formed in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and vocalist Maynard James Keenan, also known as the frontman of Tool. The band works in alternative and progressive rock. Their debut album Mer de Noms (2000) was one of the best-selling debut albums in American rock history.
