Andrew Eldritch is a British musician, founder and frontman of the gothic rock band The Sisters of Mercy. The band was formed in Leeds in 1980 and gained wide recognition with albums such as Floodland (1987). Eldritch is the sole permanent member of the group, known for his distinctive deep voice and dark lyrical style.
