Death Angel is an American thrash metal band from San Francisco, California. Founded in 1982, they are considered pioneers of the Bay Area thrash metal scene. Their best-known albums include The Ultra-Violence (1987) and Act III (1990). After a hiatus, the band reunited in 2001 and has been actively touring ever since.
