Hugh Cornwell is a British singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known as co-founder and frontman of punk and new wave band The Stranglers, with whom he performed from 1974 to 1990. After leaving the band he has pursued a solo career. Among his most recognised songs are „No More Heroes" and „Golden Brown".
