Johann Sebastian Bach was a German composer and organist of the Baroque era (1685–1750). He is regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of music. His output spans cantatas, orchestral and chamber works, and organ music; among his most celebrated pieces are the Brandenburg Concertos and the Mass in B minor.
