Napalm Death is a British grindcore band from Birmingham, active since 1981. They are widely regarded as one of the founding acts of the grindcore genre, blending death metal and hardcore punk into an extremely fast and aggressive sound. Their debut album „Scum" (1987) is considered a landmark of extreme music.
