PAIN is a Swedish industrial metal project founded in 1996 by Peter Tägtgren, also known as the frontman of Hypocrisy. The project blends heavy metal with electronic and industrial elements, delivering a distinctive melodic yet aggressive sound. Albums such as "Rebirth" and "You Only Live Twice" brought the band wider recognition.
