The Stranglers are a British rock band formed in 1974, regarded as pioneers of the punk and new wave movement. Hits such as „No More Heroes" and „Golden Brown" secured their lasting place in British music history. Hugh Cornwell served as the band's frontman and guitarist until his departure in 1990.
