Wishbone Ash is a British rock band formed in 1969 in Torquay. They are known for their distinctive twin lead-guitar sound and a blend of hard rock with progressive and folk-rock influences. Their most celebrated album is Argus (1972). Co-founder and bassist Martin Turner left the band and performs under the name Martin Turner ex-Wishbone Ash.
