YES is a British progressive rock band formed in London in 1968. They are pioneers of the prog rock genre, known for complex compositions, virtuosic musicianship, and epic albums such as Fragile and Close to the Edge. Vocalist Jon Anderson was one of the band's defining figures for much of their career.
