Zdzisław Beksiński (1929–2005) was a Polish painter and sculptor known for his dark, surrealist aesthetic. His works depict apocalyptic landscapes, distorted figures, and dreamlike visions, placing him among the most distinctive visionary artists of the 20th century. He died tragically in Kraków in 2005.
