The Inheritance

The story revolves around two sisters: Wanda, a businesswoman who recently became a widow, and Celina. Celina is the mother of adult daughters Leokadia and Ludolfina, affectionately called Loka and Luna in the family. Luna is a "spinster", while Loka is the mother of teenagers Arthur and Blanka.

When Edward Ptak, Wanda's husband, dies and leaves behind a substantial estate, the family gathers together. In the process, hidden grievances, troubles, and family secrets come to light. The group is rounded out by Wanda's sister-in-law Greta with her son Leszek, and the family's friend, the energetic Arszula.
