Travelers Marathon - Part 1

The Travelers Marathon is a full-day event at the Kościań Cultural Center, where travelers and mountaineers share stories of their expeditions - illustrated with photographs and films. Part I takes place on Saturday, September 26, starting at 14:00.
14:00 - "Under the Sails of Dreams - Kolbergowicz on Board the Pogoria"
The story of students from the I. Oscar Kolberg High School in Kościań who traded school desks for the deck of the sailing ship Pogoria. A tale of the sea, teamwork, and responsibility.
15:00 - "American Dream the Peruvian Way"
Patryk Kunc shares his experience of establishing a new route to the summit of Jangarayu (5,650 m) and climbing Peru's five-thousand-meter peaks.
16:00 - "Solo on the Andean Trail - Stories from South America"
Teresa Tokarz guides listeners through Patagonia, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, and Argentina - including Machu Picchu at sunrise, the bicycle Death Road, and encounters with llamas and alpacas. The program also includes practical tips for those planning independent travel.
17:30 - "Rapa Nui - The Island Called Easter"
Ewa Ayana Wilczyńska tells the story of the Moai statues, the Tapati festival, and the culture of Rapa Nui's inhabitants.
Tickets for Part I: 55 PLN / 50 PLN with Kościań Resident Card (when purchasing a discounted ticket, the card number must be provided).
Part II of the Marathon - a meeting with Krzysztof Wielicki "Mountains and Friends" - begins the same day at 18:30 and is sold separately: 35 PLN / 30 PLN with Kościań Resident Card.
